Subject: Breaking News: Signed, sealed, delivered
Dear Miriam,
Your voice was heard in the halls of Congress today. You and more than 85,000 concerned activists signed our petition to support EWG Action Fund's Kid-Safe Chemicals Campaign, and strengthened the call for immediate reform of our broken toxics law.
And what an impact you had. On the heels of your petition being delivered, both chambers of Congress moved forward by introducing the Safe Chemicals Act today. We have activists and supporters like you to thank for this exciting day.
We hand-delivered your signature to Senators Frank Lautenberg (NJ), Barbara Boxer (CA) and Congressman Bobby Rush (IL-01), and they were overwhelmed by the determination of you, our EWG Action Fund activists.
It would have been impossible to fit all 85,000 of you into the conference room with us, but you were certainly there in spirit. That's why we put together a photo album of our meetings with congressional leaders Lautenberg, Boxer, and Rush.

We will continue to tell your representatives in Congress how many of their constituents want them to support our Kid-Safe Chemicals Campaign. If your friends haven't already signed, we still need them!
Tell your friends to click here to add their name now.
Thank you for signing. Together we will change our toxics law to ensure that chemicals are kid-safe.
Sincerely,
Ken Cook
President, EWG Action Fund
