RADIATION protection from Japan NUCLEAR FALLOUT

This is a good news/bad news scenario. Good news for those of you that have been consuming superfoods containing Iodine like in eXfuze Seven+ and Chlorella; you are better equipped to handle the radiation exposure possibly coming our way. For full protection you need to have the iodine in your body before the exposure. Bad news for the people who have not been consuming iodine containing superfoods bcs the typical American is iodine deficient. That is why thyroid issues run rampant in our nation.

Below is a great article explaining all of this and why it's more important than ever to get your hands on iodine.

Here is some helpful info if you're looking to get the biggest bang for your buck in terms of iodine potency. I have used the Nascent Iodine mentioned in the article below and Iosol Iodine. The Iosol contains way more iodine than Nascent at 1830 mcg per drop for only $18 per bottle on www.ewater.com/2020. Nascent contains 400 mcg per drop and runs on average at $36 unless you get the 3 pak sale price on Natural News which comes to about $21 per bottle. However, you would still have to take a lot more than with the Iosol, which means it's a lot more expensive. To order Iosol on the ewater website click on the link: Other Health Support (under the General Health & Nutrition category).

Iodine protects thyroid and glandular system from radiation damage: Here's where to get some

(NaturalNews) In the aftermath of Japan's nuclear catastrophe and the fear that winds could blow radiation into the west coast of North America, there has been a sudden rush on potassium iodide, which helps protect your glandular system from radiation poisoning if you're exposed. The Japanese government is handing out this supplement in huge quantities to the survivors north of Tokyo, and here at NaturalNews, we've received a flurry of requests from people wanting to know where they can find available supplies of potassium iodide.

These "radiation pills" are being sold out everywhere. NukePills.com says they were completely sold out over the weekend. Pharmacies in California are receiving a stampede of phone calls from near-panicked residents there, reports Fox News: http://www.foxnews.com/us/2011/03/1...

I know of two sources where there is still inventory, see below...

Why you need to boost your iodine levels to protect against radiation

The important thing is to get iodine into your body in a safe supplement form. This does not have to be "potassium iodide." It can also be in the form of Nascent Iodine, which is a high-quality iodine supplement that has been available in the natural product marketplace for several years. (Do NOT drink topical antiseptic iodine products such as Betadine -- these products are not suitable for human consumption. They are povidone-iodine mixtures.)

Dr. Brownstein is one of the top experts on iodine. About radiation exposure, he explains: "If there is enough inorganic, non-radioactive iodine in our bodies, the radioactive fallout has nowhere to bind in our bodies. It will pass through us, leaving our bodies unharmed. It is important to ensure that we have adequate iodine levels BEFORE this fallout hits." (Source link below, from the IMVA website.)

What Dr. Brownstein is explaining is that you must get iodine in your body BEFORE being exposed to radiation. And most people are extremely deficient in iodine on a daily basis (http://www.naturalnews.com/023107_i...).

I've interviewed Dr. Brownstein about iodine and have recommended his website as well: http://www.drbrownstein.com

There, he talks about the relationship between iodine deficiency and many chronic degenerative diseases -- especially thyroid disorders which are often linked to obesity.

But for right now, people are mostly focused on using iodine to protect their bodies from possible radiation exposure, so keep reading...

Sources for Nascent Iodine

As luck would have it, we announced a sale on Nascent Iodine several days before the Japanese nuclear reactor catastrophe. As of right now, we still have several hundred bottles remaining in our store at: http://store.naturalnews.com/index....

A 3-pack of the product there is just under $62, which I believe is the lowest price on the 'net. You can check the link above, but these will be sold out very, very quickly due to world events and our incredible pricing. I'm sorry we don't have more available. We only have what we have, and after it's sold out, the entire supply line is probably wiped out so we won't be able to get more for a while. (This is a good reminder to all of us of the importance of preparing IN ADVANCE of such events, which means being prepared all day, every day.)

You may be able to find more inventory available at these sources:

IntegratedHealth.com has Nascent Iodine in the same 3 pack for around $99. They're a great company that we recommend on a regular basis: http://www.integratedhealth.com/

They also sell their Rejuvenate product which contains chlorella -- another great superfood for protection against radiation. Chlorella has been used after nuclear accidents and even nuclear bombings to help clear radioactive elements out of the body.

Dr. Mark Sircus is an excellent source of information about iodine, magnesium and other minerals. Over at the IMVA website, he has a book on iodine that I highly recommend: http://iodine.imva.info/

Dr. Sircus also recommends this source: http://www.magneticclay.com/store/n...

It's another trusted company that may have supply remaining. I do not know the price there.

In addition to those sources, you MAY still be able to find regular potassium iodide from www.Vitacost.com or www.VitaminLife.com or other trusted vitamin retailers. Whole Foods stores may also carry some products, although they will probably be sold out by the time you read this.

Learn more about iodine and radiation poisoning

Dr. Mark Sircus recently posted an excellent article on using iodine for radiation exposure. Read it at the IMVA website: http://blog.imva.info/medicine/iodi...

I also anticipate publishing more of Dr. Sircus' articles here on NaturalNews as quickly as we can manage.
